Identity model
How records are matched to a person, account or other entity across systems.
When this is useful
A customer can have several identifiers, while an email address or device may be shared. Matching rules need to account for those cases.
My contribution
I examine the available identifiers and define when records can be linked, when they must remain separate, and how mistakes can be corrected.

An email-only record produces two candidates and remains unresolved because a verified account key is missing.
What it covers
- Identifiers and the systems that issue them
- Matching rules and excluded signals
- Anonymous activity and the conditions for linking it
- Merge and split rules, including effects on history
- Match rates, errors and unresolved cases
The output
Matching rules, entity definitions and a description of how links and corrections affect historical records.
For an enquiry, describe the question and the systems involved.
